OVERVIEW
 

Kellogg+Associates is an energetic, creative and collaborative design firm dedicated to design excellence, social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Our projects include planning and design of community, residential and educational facilities in the San Francisco bay area and beyond. Our practice integrates planning, urban design and architecture with an emphasis on site planning, mixed use, urban infill, affordable housing and innovative community and educational facilities.

We are seeking a designer, architect and urban designer/planner (or some combination) to join our Santa Rosa office. Strong design, leadership, organization, project documentation, CAD skills, and well-developed graphic and written communication skills are essential. Experience in sustainable design and LEED accreditation are a plus. Degree in architecture and/or landscape architecture required. Candidates must have a passion for innovative thinking, a great attitude, and flexibility. In addition, the ideal candidate aspires and is capable of assuming increasing responsibilities and involvement in projects from start to finish.

    Current Open Positions:  
       
Architect   Responsibilities include developing conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents for a range of project types; overseeing design visualization and technology, providing guidance and direction to junior staff; and conferring with stakeholders, subconsultants and other team members on high level design strategies which address client's needs and budget. Advanced degree preferred.  
       
Planner/Urban Designer  

Requirements include crafting creative solutions to unique urban design, planning, and architectural strategies for challenging project sites. A master's degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning, or Urban Design is required. Understanding of urban design principles and architectural prototypes for a variety of uses is necessary. Graphic, written and verbal presentation skills essential including freehand drawing, desktop publishing, CAD, written reports and missives and persuasive public presentations.

 
       
Architectural Designer/Intern  

Architectural Designer/Intern with 2-3 years of experience in architectural design with a concentration in advanced 3D computer rendering skills. Responsibilities include 3D modeling, presentation graphics and CAD using AutoCad, Revit and Adobe CS2. Freehand drawing and physical model building a plus. Architecture degree required.
