Twin Hills Union School District
Twin Hills Charter Middle School needed a multi-use room and new administrative offices. The district had bond funds available, but needed additional funds to realize the project. In addition, the rural school had over 40% inter-district transfers annually. This made the entry to the school, and the administration building (formerly housed in an aging portable) key to the school’s continuing success. Kellogg + Associates designed the building and assisted the district in obtaining matching funds for shared community facilities. The project successfully integrates into the existing campus, engages a larger public, and enhances the educational environment for students, faculty and parents.
